Fourth of July and Little Ones



 Otter babies frolicking with ma

 she's had enough

 a lone beach baby
 and another; where are their ma's?

 from my garden
 see that big knot at the top of the tree?
a bald eagle fledgling!

    What beauty all in one day: the otters, the lone beach baby, the vibrant red fruit from your garden...and that snow white ice cream...and the eagle. A true red white and blue day for the 4th of July. Port Townsend seems like heaven on earth sometimes, doesn't it?
