Guanajuato Revisited

Guanajuato deserves several visits:  it's densely packed color, it's history, the Cervantes Festival, the lively street life in the narrow cobbled streets are magnets calling us back.

The town is also known for it's mummies: corpses on display that have been preserved by the extremely dry climate and maybe something else.  (The woman above is not one of them!)  It's not an attraction that I'm anxious to visit.
