Candelaria: a Celebration of Plants

 Each year at this time plant vendors from all over Mexico come and fill a local park with their offerings.
It's an affirmation of spring and new growth.

 Air, fire, light, humans, animals, land, water, plants, insects, thoughts, emotions, feelings
All that you see, hear, feel, smell, think, do - even the unknown and the invisible is the manifestation of god

 At this altar the seeds are blessed

 I think I'd better try the coconut,lime, chile drink!
